The COVID-19 pandemic has expanded and pushed the boundaries of how quickly organizations — and their employees — can adopt massive changes. For most health care organizations, this has involved furloughs, newly remote teams, rapid training on new safety protocols and equipment, and revamped patient and visitor experiences.
In this session, we’ll explore how one downsized HR team has enabled five additional change efforts over the past 18 months: launching a diversity, equity and inclusion initiative; managing a corporate merger; adopting a new HR information system and applicant tracking system; deploying a new employee engagement platform; and reorganizing the department. Each of these efforts brought new challenges and new lessons about how to prioritize and execute strategic changes.
